‘Little Kids and Their Big Dogs’ – the title is enough to make anyone who loves dogs, kids, or anyone interested. To see cute pictures of them playing is a temptation too hard to resist.
Photographer Andy Seliverstoff, 58, focuses on exactly just that. The unbreakable bond between little children and their supersized dogs. He spent 4 long months in St. Petersburg and captured hundreds of images on the subject before compiling them into a book. Silverstone very recently started to take photography seriously and the images in the book say it all. He also loves dogs – Great Danes especially, but his canine models range from Braids, Newfoundlands, and Black Russian Terriers.
“I always take plenty of time with the dog who’s in front of my camera so I get to know the personality of my dog model the best I can,” writes the photographer on his website. “The personality and the character is unique for every individual dog. The human aspects we often recognize in our dogs are, among other things, what makes us feel so close to them. And it is this aspect I try to express in my photography.”
We’re sure they will be adorable even if you aren’t a professional photographer!
